How I grew up... I would fall asleep in Grandma's lap and dream that the wild goose Akka from Kebnekaise had me on her wings... 

Later I would read Pollyanna and Martine...

 

As for now... whenever I am in Lyon, I always dash to the second floor of Musée des Beaux-Arts to stand in front of Gericault Mad Woman’s portrait. Last time, the guard of the museum looked at me strangely when he heard me calling her… ''Maria!'' Am I to blame that she is identical to poor Maria, Aristides’ sister, of my childhood years?...

 

I am a Greek journalist, TV producer and Radio presenter (1986-2001). I've worked for the Media groups TRT, TV-1, STAR Channel of Central Greece, FM-1 and 90FM Radio stations, on emissions about Culture & Arts, Child, Family, Society, Ecology, Health and Travels in Europe.

 

I worked for the Agricultural Bank of Greece in Athens (Directories of International Relations & Transactions, Projects & Programming, Inspection),

 

and studied at the British Council in Athens (International Relations, Commerce & Trade Transactions).                                  

 

I am a founding and active member of the Athletics Sports Club «Anagennisis of Lamia» and twice honoured for my contribution within the educational section of my televised broadcasts to Sports and the Matrial Arts, by «Anagennisis of Lamia» and «Koyku Shinkai Karate»

 

 

I am the author of  the memoir "Josephine the Black, the white..."  (as well as of  the same book with the Greek title " Η Ζοσεφίνα η άσπρη, η μαύρη, η κίτρινη και η κόκκινη...), the author of the parenting book with the Greek title "Προσέξτε τα παιδιά, γιατί... δεν μας περισσεύουν!"  ("Watch out the children, because... they don't abound!" ) 

 

and the publisher of Cambridge Pen Publishing House while I am the co-publisher of "Josephine the black, the white..."  in collaboration with the Publising House "Perfect Publishers" of Cambridge.

 

I support Equality and Human Rights, Education and Environment, as well as the Animals Criminal Justice and I am a friend and supporter of the local Clubs of Friends of  Animals.

 

I am a permanent and active member of the "Greek Literary Union"  and                   

 

"The  Literary London Society",

 

I volunteer at the Arts and Civilization of the Municipal Art Gallery of Lamia, 

 

I am a member of the Committee of Cultural and Turism Developement and Promotion of the Municipality of Lamia, GR,

 

friend and supporter of the British National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC)

 

​and a member of the Society Friends of Madingley Hall, Cambridge;                                  I also attend Classics at Madingley Hall of Cambridge University (ICE) .

 

I  am a mother of  two kids.
